Ford is an 11 month old boy who was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy type 1 on January 28th at 4 months of age.  Spinal Muscular Atrophy is the #1 genetic killer of babies under the age of 2.  There is no treatment available and no cure for SMA.  However our family believes in hope and we pray daily that a cure will be found in Ford’s lifetime.  Ford is a very happy boy who loves to watch movies, color and go for walks.  He also loves to lay on his swing and sing songs.  He brightens our day with his smiles and laughs and we love him very much!
